Happy Tuesday, Journeyer!
Well…all that keeps coming to mind with regard to this post is Up, Up, and Away (in my beautiful balloon.)
I have no idea what the lyrics of that song represent, but I know how the music and melody have always made me feel: Like I wanted to fly. Not just fly, but to glide across the sky.
I went parasailing a few years ago and it was honestly one of the most enchanting experiences I’ve ever had.
Honestly. I. Didn’t. Want. To. Come. Down. (Imagine gentle and graceful yawns between each of those periods.)
This past week was jam-packed with different kinds of delight.
Warren and I returned from our vacation late Tuesday night and then hit the ground running Wednesday morning!
To set up my new office space! Despite my body’s fatigue from the long hours and late nights on our trip, I was nearly euphoric as I packed and then unpacked the items to put into my new space.
Euphoric!
Opening an office makes me happy! (and I won’t lie, just a tad bit nervous!)
Warren and I took a few hours Friday night to visit our local fair.
There’s just something about the people watching, the lights, the smells, and the little dance my taste buds do when I sink my teeth into those Italian Sausages and fried doughs…
Mmmmmmmm…
And this…
The Merry Go Round!
As much as I love the thrill of rollercoasters and those rides that twist and turn or drop you fast and furious, the merry go round is probably my most favorite.
Up, down, around, all serenaded by whimsical, fun, and merry tunes.
That’s really more of how my week felt!
Rest and relaxation makes me happy!
And then it was back to euphoria as I finished up putting together the Services pages for my website.
[Tweet theme=”basic-white”]Life is like a merry-go-round ride: sometimes the round-and-round motion is comforting; at times it feels monotonous.[/Tweet]Journeyer, I am just thrilled to be able to offer you and yours healing in a whole new way!
I’ve been working toward and on these coaching and mentoring projects for a few years now and have spent my entire summer dedicated to energy therapy certifications.
Learning and personal growth makes me happy!
That is something I knew nothing about six months ago, but let me just say, Journeyer, my life was peacefully upended the first time I received an Integrated Energy Therapy® session.
And I do mean that in every sense of that expression: peacefully upended.
I’d been working with some darn good counselors over the years, but one of the questions that I kept chasing was what to do with the anger and resentment that kept resurfacing in my life. It just kept bubbling to the surface from time to time.
Honestly, I kind of thought there was something wrong with me because I just couldn’t seem to “master” it.
And then IET® came into my life. Sometimes people don’t feel anything, sometimes they do, and it’s always different between sessions, too. But I felt that energy flowing hot on the surface as my practitioner worked on me.
She had explained a little about the process before she began, so afterwards I asked her what stored energy she was working on removing in that particular area.
When she replied, “anger and resentment” I knew…
Positive energy makes me happy!
I knew that the reason I hadn’t been able to get rid of/get a handle on/overcome/beat/understand/insert your expression was because I wasn’t addressing the root of it.
Oh, I’d tended to all of the mental stuff, but I hadn’t dealt with the source.
I honestly have felt freer since that first and the subsequent follow up sessions I did. Let’s face it, all of the negative energy stored in my cells didn’t get there overnight, so it certainly wasn’t going to be purged in just forty-five minutes.
It works, Journeyer. That’s why I’m so passionate and over-the-top overjoyed to be able to offer this to you…to have had the training resources available to me so that I could learn and then bring this same type of healing to you.
I am just filled with admiration and awe and pride and excitement.
Did I mention that I’m ecstatic?
Right now my amazing website guy is sprucing up the pages I designed, fixing up all those mistakes I made, and making it possible for you and me to work together.
Within the next few days I’ll be rolling out my life and personal coaching packages. I’m am just thrilled because now I get to put The Five Facets Philosophy on Healing to work for you, my global neighbors!
Together, Journeyer, together we will heal a world of hurt!
Healing makes me happy!
Other happy moments included watching my hummingbirds at the feeders outside my home office; a beautiful breeze that kept at bay the stifling heat and humidity; the ting ting ting music my wind chimes make; glorious sunshine and bright blue daytime skies; brightly, starlight evening canopies; an impromptu luncheon and relaxing few hours with Beauty; talks with my sis and my dad: and finally taking care of a daunting task that I have been dragging my feet on.
And now I’m going to wrap this up so I can soar off to spend a little time with Fave, who stopped in for a few days before heading off to Boston to teach a class.
Sending you love, light, and a little magic so that you, too, will notice the many little things (okay, and some of those monumental things, too) that make you smile this week. May these fleeting joys lift your spirits, even if only for a few seconds!
We’d love for you to share any moment(s) that filled your Happy last week! Celebrate them by sharing with us in a comment below!
Until next time, yours in hope, healing, and happiness,
