The Life

Journeyer…have you ever felt like you were living “the life?”

You know the one…that expression “She’s living the life of her dreams!” or “He’s living the high life!”

That’s sort of how last week presents itself when I look back at the photos and notes I jotted down for this Happy Happens column.

As usual, I am short on time and long on inspiration!

Maybe that’s because in the spirit realm, Heaven some might say, time is irrelevant, it has no definitive measure.

In this world,  however, there are only twenty-four hours in a day…

What comes to mind is the song from Rent…if you haven’t seen it on Broadway, it’s definitely a Bucket List item…

Here’s the chorus from Seasons of Love

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty five thousand moments, oh dear
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?

You know what I’m talking about, Journeyer, on some level I know you do.

Given the truth that happiness isn’t a destination, it’s a journey, we know that every instance that makes us smile, brings warmth to our skin or our hearts, every time we laugh or feel nature’s breath across our face or hear the trickle of a brook or the roar of the ocean, every time we have that I know feeling deep inside our gut, that I’m home feeling…we are happy

When we honor those feelings, when we pay homage to that happiness, then we are, once again, happy

This is my weekly practice. Some call it gratitude while others call it grace…but no matter the label you place on the feeling, it is the essence that lies at our core, the realization and subsequent acknowledgment that we are connected to someone(s) or something(s) that moves us in positive or inspiring ways…

Ways that make us feel good.

Last week’s moments include…

Reading more about the universal magic that is helping me to see and understand more about my divine life purpose…

If you’re curious about your purpose…check out Dan Millman’s work…Bucket list…

Again, the awe and wonder of that which appears to be coincidence… I have been seeing the angel number 999 for weeks now, and finally, a day or two after buying The Life You Were Born to Live: A Guide to Finding Your Life Purpose, I randomly picked two lottery tickets, one for me and one for Big Guy.

999 Lottery Tix When I set a coin to the paper, I noticed the numbers…

I abandoned my search for monetary abundance and went in pursuit of spiritual wealth…

Journeyer…999 is connected to…are you ready?

The number 999 is connected to our Divine Life Purpose

The universe is full of beauty and I am continually filled with wonder…mesmerized by the connections that are becoming more and more undeniable…

And get this…just as a sort of test, I told the universe I would like to see four nine’s while I was traveling in Texas… At that very instant, this car came from my right and cut in front of my car…

License Plate 6666 asked for 9999That number means that I have an imbalance between my spirit and the material aspects of my life. It’s a cue to trust in Spirit, in myself, and to return to the energy that is at my core…

Several weeks ago, Warren, as a test, asked for a random number, his birth year, and as he said, the universe “assigned me the reverse.” When we looked up the meaning of his number, it had great relevance to his life right now. Ironically, he then began seeing those two numbers in combinations like 767…

Given my ongoing spiritual awakening, it appears that the universe also gave me what I what I asked for, just in a different form, combining it with another important message…

Speaking of numbers, one of the week’s highlights was celebrating Beauty’s twenty-first birthday with a large gathering of family and friends at our house!

Universal magic… This silverware wrapper was most poignant given the fact that I was headed to watch Fave compete in an Olympic Weightlifting competition!

I am grateful for their open minds…

Seeing as my “little ones” aren’t so little anymore, I thoroughly enjoyed the company of our cousin’s grandchildren who came for a visit.

A Childs Friday Night FunAs did I enjoy this view as I worked from their patio, followed by a refreshing dip in this sparkling water…

I loved the zen-focused ambiance that graced the Hilton Anatole’s lobbies…

One by one he ticked off the smaller goals, working he way to the final desire, which was to win his event. AND HE DID, Journeyer! He beat out two former Olympians and the current American Record holder, setting a new American record in the snatch event and qualifying for the World Team!!

I am bursting with pride and joy for him. He is one step closer to his dream of making the 2016 Olympic Team.

I also realize how calm and collected all of that sounds.

Here’s what really happened! This thirty-second video…as only a mom can truly appreciate!

My Reaction After Fave Set New American Record

Fave is a classic example of someone who is living the life…someone who is sustaining himself by doing what he loves and loving what he does…

I’m headed toward the life, Journeyer! Each day I’m one step closer and that makes me happy!

What about you? Are you living the life you want or are meant to live?

Until we meet again, yours in hope, healing, and happiness,

On Saying Goodbye

  1. An American record!! How exciting!!!

Things for me always come in threes. Three bad. Three good. Every time. Like clockwork.

    1. Hi, Liv! Can I tell you how excited I am every time I see I have a message from you? You are a breath of fresh air and always, always make me smile!

Three good? Three bad? Well, guess you at least have some notion of what to expect! LOL

I’m super excited and happy for my boy and his accomplishment! He’s worked so hard! Thanks for thinking of him!! 🙂
