So I haven’t taken the time to write a post… Or, as my thirteen-year-old son said about a week ago, “I haven’t found the time.” HA! On the heels of the time post, no less!
“There is no such thing as ‘finding time.’ Time is. You must take time to do things you need to do.” This I tried to convey to him as he played video games…
Ah, video games. Likely to raise a few hackles of a few moms. Yet, I am blessed that my children will stop what they are doing, quite promptly, to help me out when I need assistance. And I have needed their help of recent, as I held a graduation party last night for our oldest. Errands, appointments, paperwork, housework, and a construction project at the house have consumed much of these past days…
I’ve longed to get back to this blog, so here goes a quick post, from a weary woman…
I am thankful the heavy rains did not come during our party last night.
I am thankful for children who are willing to help out.
And for a hubby who can design or build anything I can envision or see in a magazine. 🙂
I am thankful for the sun and wind that helped dry the deck stain I applied today.
For my back massager.
For friends who exercise with me and enjoy delicious lunches out.
For other bloggers who share their stories.
For air conditioners that enable me to sleep comfortably during oppressive heatwaves.
For the person who cancelled their wisdom tooth surgery, creating an opening for us after we encountered a big conflict with my son’s surgery date…
For an eight-year-old Husky/Malamute who has finally matured a little, allowing me to turn him loose as I work in the yard.
For a hubby who is willing to massage my aching feet…
For supporters of this blog, who will enjoy the post, regardless of when it arrives in their box. 🙂
Good night, all! I’d love to hear what you’re thankful for!
